"Cookies For Kids With Cancer"
Sponsored by Granite Hills Service Unit Brownie Troop 947.
In 2004, the troop encouraged people to buy a box for themselves and"buy a box for kids fighting
cancer locally."
Their incredible sales expertise (at 7 years old) raised nearly 200 boxes of cookies for kids and
their families battling cancer.
Cookies were donated to families being treated at UC Davis Medical Center.
This year, cookies will be distributed near the Easter holiday in
April, to families battling
childhood cancer through The Memorial at UC Davis, Sutter Medical Center and Kaiser
Permanete Morse Ave.)
